As part of the volunteer network, the WSUAA conducts virtual conferences twice a year during the fall and spring as well as a Summer Leadership Conference in Pullman. By attending any of these conferences, you'll gain valuable insights. You'll have the opportunity to connect with WSUAA staff and fellow volunteers, fostering a strong network. The conferences also provide comprehensive training sessions and the latest updates on both the WSUAA and Washington State University itself.
The Summer Leadership Conference specifically dives deeper into the workings of the Alumni Association. This immersive experience will be a working meeting in addition to allowing you to see how your volunteer contributions directly impact the WSUAA's overall goals and mission. The advantages of attending conferences include meeting WSUAA staff and volunteers, networking, training, and hearing updates about WSUAA and WSU.

TRAVEL AND LODGING

alumni.wsu.edu/travelpolicy to learn about travel reimbursement. If you live within 400 miles, mileage will be reimbursed. If you live more than 400 miles away, airline tickets must be purchased by

Deluxe residence hall rooms at Global Scholars Hall have been held for $48 per night, per person. Reservations for Global Scholars Hall can be made during registration. Rooms are on hold at local hotels, see links below. Attendees are responsible for their own accommodations. Please see the

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
ALL WSUAA VOLUNTEERS (Committee Members, Board Members, Chapter and Club Volunteers, and WSUAA Past Presidents) are welcome and encouraged to attend!
WSUAA Bylaws require all Chapter Presidents, Club Presidents, and Board of Director members to participate in all leadership conferences. Having a chapter/club volunteer attend the leadership conference as your proxy fulfills your attendance requirement. Proxies do not apply to Board Members. Please email
wsuaaofficers@wsu.edu if you cannot attend and include the name of the proxy attending in your place so that they are approved for travel.
The Alumni Association will sponsor travel for one representative from each chapter/club, board and all committee members. Additional requests for attendee travel compensation will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Family members, partners, and children are welcome to special programming and social activities.
AGENDA
There will be sessions and events that your family may attend if they are traveling with you to Pullman. A detailed agenda will be sent out once things are finalized.
