Catering and Beverage Policy
The catering food services area has a sink, refrigerator, as well as a service elevator which provides access to the loading dock.
Food Service:
All events MUST be catered by state-licensed, approved caterers. The caterer is responsible for all setup, food serving and all cleanup. Red sauces and red punch are not permitted due to the risk of stains.
Alcohol Service:
All alcohol service must be performed by a qualified bartender(s) trained to properly verify age and avoid over-service. A Washington State Banquet Permit is required when alcohol is served. All State of Washington drinking-age laws must be strictly followed. Red wine is permitted with advance approval from the Alumni Centre manager.
Approved Caterers:
To cater at the Lewis Alumni Centre, a caterer must have a Catering/Mobile Permit from the Whitman County Department of Public Health. The current list of approved caterers is listed below:
