Athletics Room

This spacious room is home to the Athletic Hall of Fame. Beneath this prestigious list of award winners sits a large Mahogany table big enough to seat 12 comfortably. Displayed in lighted showcases around the room are various WSU memorabilia from past athletic events. The dim lighting, which compliments the dark, rich colors of the room, creates a quiet atmosphere perfect for a small, private meeting.

Lighty Library

Come and remember the good old days by browsing through our 100-year-old collection of Chinook yearbooks. The variety of plants and unique decorations, all donated by alumni, help to give the library its very own personality. Sit and read while the hand-carved wooden cougars stand watch from beneath the bodies of the giant armchairs they support.

The Courtyard

Located on the east side of the building, the courtyard is the perfect place to host a reception or gathering during warm weather days. Dance to the music that can be played overhead, or slip inside through the double doors of either the presidents room or the athletic room to escape the heat. Weather a little too warm? Opt to have the reception at night and enjoy the beautiful starry nights of the Palouse.

Great Hall

Welcome to the Great Hall and the splendor that encompasses it. This large area can hold up to 300 people and is perfect for catered parties and events. While display cases around the room show off numerous WSU memorabilia, the large glass and brass chandelier embodies the epitome of elegance as it hangs delicately in the center of the hall. Beneath the chandelier is a wood and granite-topped table supported by four hand-carved cougars. The cougars stand guard at their designated posts, quietly watching all who pass through this magnificent hall. Tucked away in each corner of the room are couches and chairs that provide conversational areas for intimate gatherings. Hidden in the walls is a PA system that supports 15 voice-activated microphones and a CD player. At the south end of the hall is a large, recessed, motorized screen perfect for presentations. The numerous pieces of donated artwork, the polished oak floor, and the Chinese Tai Ping carpet complete the elegant atmosphere.

Regents Room

This meeting room is arguably the most handsome room in the Alumni Centre. Surrounded by plush leather swivel chairs, the commanding Pommele Sapele Mahogany table can seat up to 21 people. The table, made specifically for the Alumni Centre, is 21' x 10', was built on the East Coast, and was delivered here in five separate sections. Don't be fooled by the east walls or the ceiling; they were painted to imitate marble. This room also contains its own PA system and houses a motorized, recessed screen for presentations.
