Lewis Alumni Centre Wedding Reception Information

The Washington State University Alumni Association (WSUAA) is now accepting wedding and reception bookings at the Lewis Alumni Centre for select 2012 dates, giving alumni and friends the opportunity to celebrate their once-in-a-lifetime moments in a beautiful, historic campus location.

The Lewis Alumni Centre’s rich history is a vibrant part of the University’s land-grant legacy. Designed in 1922 by campus architect Rudolf Weaver, the building was originally used for agricultural shows and instruction. In the 1980s, a major fundraising campaign was launched and the structure was painstakingly renovated, preserving as many of the original features as possible. Today, the 24,000 square foot building is a welcoming space that captures the spirit of the Palouse, combining modern amenities, gracious event accommodations, and one-of-a-kind ambiance.

The centerpiece of the Lewis Alumni Centre is the breathtaking Great Hall with original beamed ceilings and seating space for 250 people. The Centre’s Courtyard is ideal for outdoor seating and dancing. A number of other meeting spaces are available, including the distinguished Athletics Room; the stately Presidents Room; the historic Lighty Library and the handsome Regents Room.

EVENT PACKAGE PRICE IS $3500 AND INCLUDES:

  • Up to eight hours use of the entire Alumni Centre and grounds on select Saturdays, plus four hours of use for a rehearsal dinner on the preceding Friday evening
  • A WSUAA staff member will be on-site during your event
  • Access to on-site kitchen facilities; access to the Alumni Centre’s inventory of tables, chairs, and audiovisual equipment; free parking in an adjacent lot; and event cleanup
