Asian American/Pacific Islander Alumni Chapter
Our Mission
-
Provide API alumni an opportunity for educational, professional, and social development that will assist in keeping them abreast of current trends in their chosen professions and current issues affecting Asian Pacific Islanders

Facilitate and stimulate leadership among Asian Pacific Islander alumni that will contribute to the growth and development of opportunities for API alumni and API communities

Serve as a resource to Washington State University for developing a curriculum and environment that is relevant and sensitive to API cultures

Serve as a resource to API students currently enrolled in Washington State University, including efforts such as advocacy, student recruitment, retention and mentoring

Reflect and foster the strengths of API students, families, and communities while promoting, protecting, and preserving API cultures and promoting understanding

Advocate for and assist in fostering and developing partnerships between Washington State University and regional organizations
Goal
- Engage more alumni to become involved in their multicultural alliance in order to facilitate and maximize engagement with Washington State University.
