Homecoming 2011

From the traditional Homecoming Bonfire Rally to our Life Member Reception, we will have an exciting slate of events for Homecoming 2011.  Invite your family and friends for a fun-filled weekend with fellow Cougar alumni and fans! 


Butch Surfing the Crowd

The Homecoming Bonfire is the perfect way to start off the weekend by showing your school spirit and pride!  Enjoy mingling with WSU alumni, students, faculty and staff.  Special appearances will be made by WSU sports teams, Butch and noteable guest speakers.  Stay warm by the bonfire, while cheering along with the WSU Cheer squad, and dancing to the WSU Marching Band.  Come out to get ready for the big Homecoming Football game and remember to wear your Crimson!

Homecoming Bonfire 2009

Where:   Flag Lane (intersection of Colorado Street and Stadium Way, behind Mooberry Track)

Life Member Reception

After attending the Homecoming Bonfire and Pep Rally, WSU Alumni Association Life Members and special guests receive the opportunity to attend an exclusive reception.  This event will be held in the Great Hall of the Lewis Alumni Centre.  Join today to become a life member and begin receiving all the great benefits and services, such as attending this special reception.

Appetizers and beverages will be served, along with premium hand-crafted Wine by Cougars from Bergevin Lane Vineyards and Goose Ridge Estate Vineyards and Winery.  Don't forget to wear your Crimson!

Honors College Weekend 

The Honors College will be hosting a two-day event sponsored by the Honors Student Advisory Council (HSAC) Ambassadors, Honors College Advisory Board, and Honors College. 

When:    Friday, October 14, 2011; 1- 5:30 p.m.
                 Saturday,October 15, 2011; 9-11 a.m.

What:     Friday will include tours of campus and/or Honors Hall will be available. 
                Followed by a presentation of "Where Have Our Careers Taken Us?  The Real
                World of Life After College." 
                Saturday will include enjoy a light breakfast and poster/video presentations by
                Honors students and faculty.
