WSUAA Career Support is a service developed by the WSU Alumni Association (WSUAA) to provide valuable life-long career support to all alumni, students, recent graduates, and friends of WSU. Career support is the #1 requested benefit by alumni, and we are thrilled to offer this new service to Cougars everywhere. WSUAA Career Support strives to help further the careers of fellow Cougars and friends of WSU, help them achieve their career ambitions, increase the value of their WSU degrees, and enhance the business success of Cougar-owned or managed businesses. Cougar CareerBeam: This service includes a job-search database, a resume and interview resource center, and a user-friendly program that helps you determine your career goals and offers helpful steps to achieve them. Cougar CareerBeam includes a job-listing database of millions of current openings across the country and world and is a free service provided to all alumni and friends of WSU.
LinkedIn to the WSUAA: This is a free WSUAA online networking tool that allows users to access networking connections through their online profile. Join the Alumni of Washington State University group and immediately be connected to hundreds of Cougars. You can find potential clients, service providers, subject experts, and potential partners who come recommended from your contacts. You can also discover business opportunities, search for great jobs, discover inside connections that can help you land jobs, post and distribute job listings, and get introduced to other professionals and alumni, all through the people you know and fellow Cougars. Cougar Business Network: (Now Accepting Registrations) The Cougar Business Network (CBN) is an online searchable database of Cougar-owned or managed businesses located around the world that helps to facilitate “Cougars doing business with Cougars.” Listing your Cougar-owned or managed business is free to all current members of the WSU Alumni Association. The Cougar Business Network database will be available for searching beginning in July.
WSU CareerLink: WSU CareerLink is a national-recruiting network and suite of web based recruiting and career services automation tools serving the needs of colleges, employers, and job candidates. Managed by WSU Career Services, this is a free service for WSU alumni, students, and friends of WSU. Kaplan Test Prep: Kaplan is the world leader in test preparation to pass the tests necessary to achieve your career and continuing education goals. Kaplan offers complete preparation for entrance exams for secondary school, college, graduate school as well as English language and professional licensing exams. Through a growing partnership with Kaplan and the WSUAA, WSU alumni and friends can access these valuable services at a discounted rate by calling 1-800-KAP-TEST and mentioning the WSU promotion code of WSUALUMNI100.
