Multicultural Alliances

The Alumni Association supports several programs for multicultural alumni including receptions, student and alumni recruitment, and networking and social events.  Multicultural Alumni serve as liaisons between former and current multicultural students at Washington State University.

The Alumni Alliances of Washington State University are united in an organized effort to address the needs of the University's alumni, students, parents, faculty and the communities the Alliances serve.  The Alumni Alliances strive to reflect and foster a strong positive image while facilitating and stimulating academic, civic and career opportunities.  The collaboration of the Alliances will advance the interests and promote the welfare of all WSU alumni of color and support the diversity initiatives of Washington State University and the WSU Alumni Association.

The WSU Alumni Alliances nurture and facilitate the support of alumni to the extended University community through:

 

  •  Establishing Leadership Scholarships for students of color
  •  Student recruitment efforts
  •  Mentorship programs
  •  Reunions
  •  Sponsorship of guest speakers
  •  Internships
