Student Alumni Connection Order a Student Cougar Kit! Get your student a Cougar Kit this fall to start them off right at WSU. A Cougar Kit includes food, drinks, tips about getting involved on campus, pens and more. Kits are available to students who are living both on and off campus. By purchasing a Cougar Kit, you are not only helping your student, but you are helping the Student Alumni Connection put on events for all students at WSU, the Palouse Community, and WSU Alumni and Friends. Events you are supporting include the Homecoming Bonfire, and the Holiday Celebration.
SAC Welcome Barbecue All Alumni Association scholarship students are invited to join members of the Student Alumni Connection for a meet-and-greet welcome barbecue during the first week of school. This is a great opportunity to learn more about SAC and meet other Alumni Association scholarship students attending WSU. Students are asked to please bring thank you letters to their scholarship donors. Also, individual photos will be taken at the barbecue. We can't wait to see you there!
About SAC: Student Alumni Connection (SAC) organizes events to sustain and create Washington State University traditions. Founded in 1982, SAC is supported by the WSU Alumni Association and meets in the Lewis Alumni Centre. SAC members are organized into six committees with each one focusing on a different aspect of SAC's activities. The six committees are: Alumni, Ambassadors, Campus & Community Relations, Fundraising, Membership, and Seniors. Together, these committees organize and support over 25 programs. Since SAC is entirely a student-run organization, each committee is run by a student Committee Chair. SAC as a whole is overseen by an Executive Committee, made up of elected members, and an advisor.
